Raincity Grill opened it's doors in 1992,
featuring a menu comprised of locally sourced food, eventually incorporating what became our trademark 100-Mile Tasting Menu. The ingredients represent a commitment to both the present and the future, by providing you with products that are raised, grown, and caught in the most ethical manner available.
Our menu is a tribute to the local farmers, fisherman and producers of British Columbia.
The Chef sources out the best organic, sustainable products available and has designed a menu to showcase the individual components by blending them into a harmony of world-class flavors. "Farm-to-table" has become a recent catch phrase but at Raincity Grill it has been a philosophy for twenty years.
Our wine list has always echoed our regional commitment. When the industry was still in it's infant stage, our menu showcased local wines that have only recently blossomed onto the world scene. Designed to complement our menu, the wine list showcases the best of the Pacific West Coast "winescape".
The third aspect of your dining experience is our service staff. These individuals both share and reflect our passion for this business. In 2010, we were proud to receive on their behalf, the Birk's Silver Spoon Award given for the 'Best Service in the City'. Not resting on our laurels, we strive to continually find individuals that show a sincere commitment to hospitality.
